A very good novel.
This novel shows that Keith R.A. DeCandido is one of those authors who would be able to spin an intriguing and captivating story based on a VCR manual. Q&A doesn't really have much of actual new story, there isn't really happening much, but you don't really notice that until after you have finished it. While you're reading it you are just sucked into the novel so much, that you didn't really miss the "action". One thing KRAD does better than J.M. Dillard in the preceding novel is the introduction of new characters, where Dillard's surviving new crew member T'Lana remained somewhat flat and one-dimensional, his new characters actually have a depth that make you care about them.
Overall the first highlight of the series of post Nemesis TNG novels.
